Douglas is one of my favourite players but he could not help himself last night and picked up a needless yellow.
He did some silly fouling again and it doesn't seem to register with him not to do these things. Frustrations.

You think a foul was deserved, never mind a yellow for Douglas Luiz in that incident?

It was a bizarre decision given what had gone unpunished before that.

Granted the ref letting things go,  but Dougie doesn't need to be acting in such a manner which is the whole point

The referee's worst mistake from yesterday was not calling a clear penalty for Watkins' being barged over.
That was a blatant outrage, and VAR must also take a lot of responsibility for that poor choice.

What manner did Douglas Luiz act in?

The lad next to me thought he'd got the card for his reaction and not the foul (non-foul) itself.

It was a shirt pull so if refs do their job properly then it's a yellow. The problem is when he doesn't book their player for doing the exact same thing. Just like when you see Fernandes very clearly give dissent but very rarely gets booked for it.

He's not disciplined enough, regardless of what he's being booked for. Consistently gives away free-kicks in dangerous areas and McGinn clearly knows this as he had a word with him last night.

There is a pot and a kettle comment in there somewhere.

Especially given how egregious the pull was on Konsa, almost took his shirt off.

I don’t get that. These officials must have to ref Man Utd quite a bit over a season and have to deal with his abuse all match and he always gets away with it. If I was them I’d be ready for his nonsense and book him asap. He’s such a gobshite.

Ollie Watkins said Dougie is the most relaxed and chilled player before matches. He's basically not even changed till 5 mins before having to go on to the pitch!
Doug does everything at his own pace!
Just like the way he plays the game.
Gonna miss him today and Bournemouth

Clearly a better team without him and Kamara.

Yeah, Arsenal look like they need him more than we do. Thanks for your efforts Dougie.
