Just so brainless its unbelievable.  Id understand if it was one of those where you took one for the team but it was a needless foul right in front of the ref.

97th minute yellow, we will miss him but he makes niggly fouls pretty much every match. Midfield has been decimated these past two months, Kamara out JJ out, McGinn just back from suspension and now Dougie out for a couple.

This ref booked him last season in 32nd game Vs Brentford also.
And now its  4 out of the 5 games officated by Salisbury that he's been booked

I thought the ref was poor but i cant defend him for that it was a silky decision by dougie and he has to take responsibility for that.

It was a bit silly considering his yellow card suspension jeopardy.

Frustrating, as personally I’ve never done anything silly in my life.

I actually think he’s been below par for the last month or so and the mis-control of the ball and subsequent lunge that led to his yellow wasn’t a surprise.

That's not true, as you left out the apostrophe in your username.

Is there any chance he did it deliberately? Would be incredibly stupid of him to choose to miss the Arsenal game, but maybe he was thinking get the ban out of the way and not miss any of the last few games? Although as I said, arguably the Arsenal game is now a huge game where a win would be massive.

Everything would be reset after today’s game. He’d have had no worries about a ban. Just needed to avoid a yellow today (the daft lad)
