What are the chances of him actually playing for Brazil this break? Just looking at the schedule and they play Argebtina at 00:30 on Wednesday morning.
We don't play until Sunday but he's probably looking at being very late rejoining the squad.

(Same goes for Martinez, I suppose, but slightly different scenario for keepers)

Looking at their squad, I reckon he'll play. They look a bit thin in midfield.

My fat thumbs hitting the wrong keys there. How many times have I misspelled it that autocorrect thinks it is a word though, is the worrying thing.

Aah, yes but the Arse are circling again, preparing an Emile Smith-Rowe plus cash offer for a January swoop!

I hope we are bracing ourselves!!

If he really wanted to leave then Smith Rowe would be a brilliant option. Still hope he stays put though

Thought he wasn't good enough for Villa, using same logic, at the time. Spectacularly wrong. Arteta has gone through a number of keepers since and none remotely in Martinez class.

Douglas Luiz has the ability to be playing for the likes of Real Madrid. He's already better than Kovacic at Man City. Think both City and Arsenal have missed the boat there.

Was there an issue with Luiz getting a work permit when he was at Man City? That's why they had to keep loaning him out? Seems to have worked in our favour in the long run.
