I feel too that Emery won't allow long drawn out sagas that last all summer. If someone wants out they'll be let go, but we'll have someone lined up to replace them before they've packed their bags, and they'll be in before preseason starts. There'll be no last minute exits with no time to replace them.

West Ham seem to have improved themselves since selling Rice and likewise, Spurs, after selling Kane. We've done it in the past too, selling Yorke and bringing Dublin and Merson in.

You might not want to lose a star player but you hope to make enough money from it that you can strengthen the team as a whole.

We're better now than when Grealish was here.  It just took a genuinely great manager to realise that.

Luiz signed a contract after the Arsenal interest and could've left for free in the summer. Actions speak louder than words. Let's be calm.

Awful today, should have been subbed off earlier.

A rare off day for Doug, but he's got years of credit in the bank. The first half set up was rubbish and meant that both Luiz and Kamara looked poor.

Poor today but didnt get the logic of subbing him for the Donk with about 10 mins to go. Maybe Emery just laying down a marker with him. He wasnt the only one at fault but I expected a lot more from him for the first goal.

Think they recognised that he makes us tick and they worked very hard to give him no time at all.

It worked.

His piss poor attempt to closedown for the first goal after ball watching was really poor.

Yep piss poor. Cost us the goal at Wolves also . He's great when he plays well but he really needs to add consistency especially if he wants to get back in the Brazil squad .

I thought Zaniolo was more culpable, he didn't track the run then gave up when the ball was played back, Duggie could and should have closed faster but he was never going to get a block in there.

I think he and Zanolio set the tone today, the first 10 minutes both were poor and the complacency seemed to spread from them.

They had an off day. Dougie has been exceptional, if he had a bad day so be it. He’s been absolutely instrumental in why we’re in the top 5.
