Best player on the pitch today.

Love Doug but I thought Konsa and Bouba were the best today.

I think everyone outside the 4 more attacking players has a fair shout for it, we were excellent defensively and they all played a big part in it. Zaniolo would've been in the discussion at half time as well but he looked very tired after about an hour.

A ropey first ten minutes from Douglush but back to his very best after that.

He's now scored in the last 5 home league games.

Offer him another contract. We can't lose him.

Barely mentioned in the commentary but this guy is a baller, just as Cash said.

A new contract is becoming essential rather than a nice to have.

That was such a calm finish.

He dropped his left shoulder and calmly rolled it in. Just lovely

There isn’t a midfielder in the Premier League I’d swap him for. Nobody, uh uh.

I seriously think he’s up there with one of the best players to play for us in my lifetime.

I love watching Dougie play. It's weird. A couple of years ago he'd have those games where he'd swagger around without that much productivity, as if he thought he was way better than he was. Turns out he was absolutely right about being a baller, he's just gone up a few levels thanks to Unai, and also looking more athletic. A bit of added maturity has helped too, with age.

Now that he's adding goals he's very close to the finished product.

This is where we have to keep hold of him.

Happy to put his foot in but has a swagger to his play too.  Really makes us more than the sum of our parts.  He must be horrible to play against.

He's a brilliant player. A lovely combination of industry and impudence.

I wasn't that keen while he was still a Man City player, nor for a bit after he became ours. I love being wrong about football. Dougie's so consistently excellent.

The player he has become, particularly under Emery, just shows what a top level coach can do.
