As others have said, it's Caicedo prices for him at the very least, and with enough time for us to get a big-time replacement in. For which it's already too late.

I don't think it's worth wrecking our season for any price.  Either you want to move up the league or you don't.  You don't progress by selling your best player 24 hours before the window closes.

Press can speculate however much they like. If Caicedo is worth £115M then anyone after Dougie can look at offering something north of £120M.

If we managed to keep him when he had not much time left on his contract, we were shit, Gerrard was manager, and top of the table Arsenal wanted him, then I'm fairly certain we can now we're great, he's on a longer contract and we're playing well under Emery.
But it was the love of Alisha that kept him :D

If you believe what you read, Liverpool weren't prepared to pay £115m for Bellingham. Then out of desperation they were prepared to pay that amount for Caceido. Now this late in the window we are to believe that Klopp has just woken up to the quality of Douglas Luiz and may tempt us with a £60m bid. Lol fuckin' lol

That Caceido bid was a Doug Ellis special, “look we’ve bid for him too” knowing full well he was going to go to Chelsea.

A release clause doesn't mean we have to sell the player though. If he isn't looking to move they can offer all they like.

This is the Liverpool Echo and a pathetic attempt to unsettle our players before Sunday. 3 weeks ago they were signing Kamara too.
They can go fuck themselves

Liverpool in for Gravenberch apparently, so Dougie probably safe for now. Unless they're stockpiling midfielders.

Or if it is met, start a bidding war

Think that it's more that they didn't have the money for him, then banked £70m or so for their existing midfield, giving them both the money and a need.

Yeah, it's one criticism I don't really understand. They obviously didn't expect Henderson and Fabinho to fuck off, especially for that much.
