Can it be reviewed?

You can review anything but if they deem it frivolous they can extend the ban. There might only only have been minimal contact, but he moved his head aggressively towards Mitrovic and you just can't do that and expect to get away with it. It's not like the Bamford situation where TV showed that El Ghazi's elbow was about three feet away from him.

Yeah, we'd have more chance of getting a decent cup draw than getting that overturned.

That wasn’t a red, come on, anyone who thinks it is what about the twat that ran towards him with his chest puffed out. Stupid decision

We’ve all seen red cards given though, that’s the point.

Worth it to see the back of Gerrard, in my opinion.

Anyway I would like to give Dougie a big thank you as that moment sealed his managers fate

That’s not getting overturned in a million years.

That red card was the equivalent of Glenn Whelan's missed penalty against Preston - the absolute final nail in the manager's coffin. The third goal flicking in off Mings was merely a wreath being placed on top.

I'm pissed off by the red.  I think both players were equally at fault and Doug gets the red because of Mitrovic's play acting.  I'd love to have seen the ref have the balls to just give Mitrovic a yellow and move on.

I can't believe how accepting the commentators were of the decision and why there's not more ridicule of Mitrovic today.  It's a disgusting side of the game that I absolutely hate.

Wrongfully dismissed and available for Brentford, Michael Oliver really is a ******.

Apparently his claim of wrongful dismissal is upheld. Well there you go, if the Gods decide your time is up, your time is up

So wrongfully dismissed but surely now Mitrovic is punished for his simulated agonising death?

That Jawdiee ref was always going to do us at some stage.

Isn't he the same bell end who overturned the penalty in the last minute against Brighton two seasons back?

Initially gave the decision, looked at the monitor - which confirmed Trez had been fouled in the box - and overruled it.

Cxnt.

Why? Gerrard would have gone after that performance if we’d lost 1-0, Luiz’s Red had little bearing on action man hairs sacking.
