Links to Roma mainly perpetuated by that rag the Birmingham Mail. More clickbait crap from their amateur 'journalists'
Do they really expect Dougie to move to an inferior League? However, we do need to sign him up to a longterm deal, especially as the buy-back clause to Citeh has now expired.

I think I'd hold off on the contract negotiations for a little while longer. It's a bit of a risk but if we carry on playing as we are now we'll look like we're well in the running for Europe by early November, that's the point where we can talk to Luiz, Martinez, etc and it'll be easier to show we're over Joe and can help them reach all their goals.

Douglas now called up to the Brazilian squad which means if he stays  for all 3 matches then because Brazil's game against Uruguay on the Thursday is at 1230pm U.K. time on a Friday  mean will almost certainly be unavailable to play vs Wolves

It luiz is double vaccinated i dont see why he has to isolate for 10 days

I would imagine we will say he can play 1st two but needs to be back for 3rd. Thats a fair compromise

As irritating as it is, it's worth considering that not so long ago wouldn't have dreamed that we'd be moaning because our players were being selected for Brazil and Argentina.

He doesn't need to isolate any more, does he? I thought they'd come to some agreement. F-V meant that he'd be unlikely to be available due to the short turnaround between the Uruguay/Wolves games, unless I've missed the point.

I was exactly going on the short turnaround and travelling back.
Prep for the Wolves game would be difficult

Comimg up tonight 1230am UK time Brazil who are 1st away vs last-place Venezuela

Brazil has 24 points and Argentina has 18 from eight matches. Uruguay (15), Ecuador (13) and Colombia (13) follow, but they’ve all played nine matches.

The top four teams secure a spot at next year’s World Cup in Qatar. The fifth-place team will enter a playoff

The "clown off the tellly" implied that because he's apparently never heard of us, neither can anybody else have. I think he's miffed that Luiz had been called up and not a player from his former club, Corinthians.
