Are they the Olympic champions of the world?

Hope so...I don't wanna see Neymar ugly-cry ever again. (even if he's too old to be an Olympian)
This was a semi-final.

I'm surprised he wasn't booked for a rather pathetic dive in the box.

Yeah, it didn't look great.

More spectacular than Tom Daley that was.

Strikes me as someone who will leave for pastures new in a few seasons.

Don't start looking for a new scapegoat already, mate. Now's your chance! Slag off Grealish to your heart's content!

Zero break for him this Summer ...won't see him featuring much for the 1st team for a while I'd say

…see any other player in our squad too.

Good luck Douggie! Have we ever had an Olympic silver / gold medalist playing for us before?

Mana Iwabuchi previously won silver in the women's. That's it, unless one of the early British amateur winners later had a spell at Villa. I don't think any of them did.

We might well be “pastures new” for many of the players looking to play at a higher level by then. We already are, at a certain level, though admittedly we still have some way to progress yet,

Eurosport 5, if you have that. If not, I'd suggest maybe avoid this thread as the BBC will likely show highlights at some point.

Richarlison smashes a penalty over the bar. Don't let people whose name starts with "Rich" and ends in "son" take penalties!
