Can someone provide a recap on the visa situation?  Didn’t he receive qualifying points because he was in our top X% earners (not so at Man City).  Isn’t international recognition also a qualifying criteria?

If so, surely him play in for Brazil is a bad thing as it’ll make it easier for him to get a Working visa at Man City.

Thanks. I reckon he's actually most suited to a McGinn role in terms of his attributes. Just so happens we have someone in the McGinn role already.

The beauty of the game last night, he was always available for a pass. Totally different game to the Villa. I would say last night was a much easier task - so you can imagine what he does for us, but without pressure. (explains why it takes a year for a latin player to adapt to europe game). If he performs for Villa, he will always deliver for Brasil. Asked my friends in Brasil what they thought, all gave a huge thumbs up, as did I.

Played the full 90 again last night versus Peru. Solid performance too by all accounts. Never thought I'd see a Villa player as a Brazil regular!
