He is another that clearly needs to adjust quickly to the pace and the power of the premiership. Undoubted talent but without the physicality to go with it he will be wasted

Douglas' turn to come off the bench to gain a first Brazil cap today. You wait 145 years for a Brazil International then two turn up at once...

Well done Douglas. He's done ok for me so far considering he had no pre-season with a new squad of players. No preparation time at all which shouldn't be overlooked.

Decent first half, poor second. Repeatedly dispossessed.

I thought he was good for 70 minutes but looked fucked for the last 20. Not sure why Nakamaba didnt come on to replace him.

Not sure why any subs didn’t come on until the eventual  entry of Lansbury very late.

I'd rather Nakamba played the next match personally

Smith is very poor on subs. Even on the few minutes he got, Lansbury made an impact. Why not bring him on 10 mins earlier . Both Luiz and McGinn could have been hooked around the 70 min mark without complaint .

No repeatedly. Twice and in that only once he was caught totally napping by ***t.

And yes Smith should have subbed him after the hour.

Agree, he was an accident waiting to happen in the last 15. Every ( short) time I see Lansbury he looks a decent player.

Good performance but I agree he gassed out towards then need and was a liability. Smith should have brought on marvellous. I'm pretty sure marvellous was rested for this weekend against manure as thag will be a tough game.

Except we had a clean sheet, unlike the other times we have subbed and then conceded. Maybe a team request in order to keep the balance and concentrate

Correct.  Just because you have subs doesn't mean you have to use them.  Luis played very well last night.  Yes, he got caught on the ball a few times but that's understandable as he tries to adjust to the pace of this league. He'll improve on that aspect quick enough.
