Liverpool apparently want Kamara too. I'd take it as the journos finally realising we have players worth having and thus players worth linking with other "bigger" clubs.

I’d be surprised if spurs are attractive enough for him to force a move. We might find out what/if there’s a clause in his contract though.

My guess is spurs will trigger it and Doug will use it to get a better contract at villa.

Either way, it’s a bit shit as I don’t remember a pre-season where the squad seems so settled and together.

I wouldn't worry about this nonsense. It's a bit slow transfer wise and stories are needed. I doubt he'll go anywhere.

So he's not shit then as some posters used to suggest as late as 2022?

This comes from a link earlier in the week or last week, where a former Liverpool player, possibly Collymore, said that 'The Mighty Reds YNWA' should sign Bouba. Lazy, lazy journalism. Nothing to see here.

Spurs and Chelsea have both shot themselves in the foot with their performance last season.

The lack of any sort of European football makes it hard for them to sign players from that level. With us and the Barcodes now in the mix for European football and attracting the players, it makes it difficult for them to get any sotEuropean football this coming season too.

Can you see either of them finishing above three of:

Man city
Liverpool
Arsenal
Man u
Us
Newcastle

Let alone another surprise package like Brighton...

If Arsenal couldn't get him last season, I hardly think total no-marks like spurs are anything to worry about.

Wasn't it January before last that Arsenal were in for him? When they weren't quite as attractive a proposition as they are now?

(not that he's going to Spurs in a million years)

Everything was a bit of a blurry mess in the years before Emery.
