We cannot lose Konsa, the club will know this, a player loss too far IMO. Hopefully, a juicy new contract will be signed.

Agreed, the loss of 4 key players plus Onana until next year will be very difficult to overcome.

I fear we might because Konsa may want the move.  However I trust the club/hope that their negotiations start from that perspective.  If he goes, it needs to be a transfer fee that guarantees we have the opportunity to move forwards.

About Konsa living in London - Guillem Balagué said him and Digne lived in London in his Rise of the Villans book.

Emery may feel that that horse has bolted and, instead, is looking to build a team for X years time.  Using the carrot of CL football to attract the best young players and sorting out the finances once and for all.  Probably wasn't Plan A but everyone has a plan until they're punched in the face.

Tanswell mentioned he had not signed his contract and hinted he probably fancies Arsenal.  Unfortunately, Arsenal seem to have swallowed the Daniel Levy book of negotiation and are making a nuisance of themselves.

Trouble is, he's had weeks with Saka, Rice, Eze, Madueke. They're  bound to have bigged up joining Arsenal to him...

I think Konsa would be a lot harder to replace than Tielemans or Rogers, I think he has been excellent for a number of years now.
