He didn't fall out with anyone or have an attitude issue, did he?

Shit just starts to get made up about players to fill column inches. All of a sudden Rogers or Konsa want to leave based on comments they might have made about their career or ambitions that have been twisted multiple times to create a story that just isn't there.

All fed by Arsenals copious amounts of online bullshitters, wanky vloggers and general ******. An example to any club of how not to support your team.

Indeed.

“The cock crew,
The sky was blue:
The bells in heaven
Were striking eleven.
‘Tis time for this poor soul
To go back to Merseyside.”

Arsenal fans seem convinced they'll get both Konsa and Rogers by overpaying for Konsa and underpaying for Rogers so we'll owe a smaller sell on fee to Boro, thus getting more money.

While I think this is bollocks, there is some twisted logic to it that I quite like. They can still get fucked though.

UEFA would be all over that.

I really hope we dont lose both.  Given the likely commericals - Id rather keep Konsa - I also think it would be best for him.

Maybe if it's like £160m for Konsa and £30m for Rogers.

Konsa, as good as he has been for us, is 28 and replaceable. I could see us being sneaky motivated sellers on this one. SCR/age profile shenanigans.

A pretty shitty thing to do, to be fair.

Plus we know Steve Gibson would kick up a right stink and make complaints or take legal action.

We'd need two replacements, as he is also our first choice right back cover.

That would be ironic because Derby County did that to Nuneaton Borough when they sold Malcolm Christie and another player to Steve Gibson’s Middlesbrough!
