Not that I have seen. But his contract is up in two years, so I imagine he's one where we are looking to get him to sign a new contract or could be off while we can still get decent money for him.

Has anyone credible said Konsa is off then?
Nah, but with 2 years left on his contract, living in London, having just played in a world-cup semi final and (potentially) leaving us having won a trophy; it's easy to see how a move to Arsenal would appeal to him with Saliba out for a few months.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if it happens.

Agree completely. Does he still live in London?

Ollie will the only one left at this rate.

I like Ezri but if there is any truth that he won't extend his contract, and is prepared to go as just cover to another team, I'd drop him at the station myself and come back with John Stones on a free.

Stones is shot, I hope we're nowhere near that.

This is the one that I have thought would be the big departure this summer all along.  If he isn't going to sign up then the way of football nowadays is that we have no choice but to sell him, and I can see how Arse would be appealing to him.

Pau has two years left as well, and he says he’s not signing again.

We cannot have it both ways.  One week we are saying how great and indispensable he is, the next accusing him of having Ashley Westwood levels of pointless pointing after another calamitous goal has been conceded.

Yes this is true, but I think with the "England tax" it's a slightly different proposition.  Like was said on that thread, I'd rather we had Pau for 2 years and got nothing that get maybe £20m for him right now, he is vital to us and give Unai 2 years to find and blood a replacement.  I'd rather Konsa signed a new deal, but if he won't, we can get £40-50m for him this summer and that is too good to turn down when he is probably all amortised now, he's a great player, but less critical IMO.

Yeah, Torres is more important than Konsa to us overall. Plus we know that Torres is one of Emery's favourites he'd run into a burning building for.

But, and I stress, I don't want any more of the defence to leave.

The only other defender I'd be ok with seeing go is Mings because of his age and the fact that he's now clearly a reserve but I'm also fine with him staying so long as he's happy with the gametime he's going to get.

Agreed.  I definitely don't want Konsa to go.  I just think that he might.

I don’t want him to go but am totally relaxed if he does, if we get £40-50m, and spend it reasonably wisely. Players move around, we need to keep selling well and buying well. Konsa for £40-50m would be selling well.
