So that is why we get so many players injured in training.

Doesn't seem the wisest move even if he hadn't been injured.

Good to see such camaraderie though that is among the players?  You'd have had a very valid point if it was Nathan Baker from a few seasons back mind.

That and if he's fit it shouldn't be a problem anyway.

Strangely I met one of Nathan Baker's cousins in the services on the way home from the Forest game. He was working in Leon..

Be great to have him back starting at Luton. The likes of Ogbene are quick so need that offside line purring.

I’m wondering if Konsa is fully fit. He’s had a brilliant season, but today and against Ajax he’s just looked off. Obviously there was the horrendous error for the second goal, which pretty much ended any hope of a fight back, but even before that he looked very shaky in possession.

He was terrible for both goals at Luton too. Messing around with his position is not helping.

Exactly Bronte. Doesn’t help Cash either.

Cash, Konsa, Torres, Digne/Moreno

Just pick that Emery, FFS.

This is exactly it. Why dont he do that FFS. It really was a dumb move olaying konsa and cash in a game of this importantance. I dont see ange playing porro at rw and romaro at rb.

He’s been very average since injury. Prior to that he’s been in exceptional form.

Like Emery, Konsa is a victim of his own success. We all would have been happy with a fifth place finish at the start of the season but since we’ve been so good, anything but a top four finish may be viewed by some as a failure.

Similarly, Konsa has proved himself such a dependable player that Emery prefers to play him in an unnatural position at right back and people’s perception of Konsa suffers as a result.

When Konsa plays right back, it reminds me of the old days when the centre back Earl Barrett was asked to do the same and was equally as ineffective doing it.

“You’ll never beat Earl Barrett!”

Happy days! I’d kinda forgotten about him. Melberg and Cueller have also made the position their own since EB.
