Ladies were as comfortable as it’s possible to be, played well within themselves and still won at a canter. Could have had double figures if they played with a little more intensity.

Number 21, who’s name I don’t know, was immense, like a fit, energetic, sober, Danny Drinkwater. Ran the game.

Well done girls

U23's leading Portsmouth 3-0 in the Premier League Cup competition.  Currently in the 91st minute.  No idea of the scorers.

Our under-23s lost 3-1 at home to Reading. Louie Barry scored again.

Quite a few of them are, yes. Archer is 18 and Barry is 16, for example.

Purslow was saying the other week how the long term plan is to have the under 23 team consisting of 16-18 year olds.

Jaden is being linked with some very big teams at the moment. Looks like  he has a good agent already.

Given that several top clubs are now integrating their younger proteges into their matchday squads, it would be great to see Villa take a chance next season on 2 or 3 of them.
Just not this season ....

Ramsey scored a cracker for Doncaster ,his third in 6.O'Hare looked to be pulling the strings for Coventry who are now top and Doncaster close to the play off places.
Good young attacking midfield options for next year ?

I hope so, regardless of which division we're in.
Pity we do not have a DMF youngster who can step up: I thought Doyle-Hayes would be that man, but he seems to have slipped off the radar.

JD-H is on loan at Cheltenham Town in league 2. Seems to have established himself in their first team and getting plenty of game time. Link to his page on their club OS.
