Sentimentality is a bitch, because like so many others, I often romanticise players wearing our shirt. I sometimes think they're better than they are, put in performances better than they did, simply because they played for us - but there are still quite a few players I'll be perfectly comfortable seeing the back of this summer. What's different right now, is that for the first time in a very long while, I trust our management implicitly. If Dean chooses to keep a couple of the players people think should definitely be let go, I won't be reacting with "Seriously? Have you lost your mind?" as I have in previous seasons, but with "Fair enough, I trust Dean has seen something in them that I haven't". That's quite a nice feeling.
What's the odds small heath will take at least one of our leavers.

Micah, Hutton, Albert, Jedibak, Whelan all goingIn lots of ways it is the perfect situation as it is a lot off the wage bill and we will not be carrying very much deadwood (McCormack being the main one left)We also have a lot of players with just 1 year to goHourihaneKodjiaChesterBjarnasonDavisGreenElmoYou would think we will be offering out new deals to a few of them.
