“We’re Aston Villa parades are for when we win league titles and cups not for finishing third”

I love Purslow And I prefer this attitude.

"A group of Derby County fans including children were left "terrified" after Aston Villa fans smashed windows of the coach they were travelling to Wembley in.
Shocking footage sent to Derbyshire Live shows the moment a young child cried with alarm when the window beside him was smashed by a thug wearing an Aston Villa shirt"

The above is from a Derby newspaper. Is this the Villa? As a Villa fan of over fifty years standing I am ashamed. The sort of thing that you would expect from the other side of the city. VIlla fans are better than this. Who are these morons? Whoever they are they need to be identified and never allowed to darken the doors of Villa Park ever again

Mores the pity. Not been to an away game for many years due to living abroad. But still when I began supporting the Villa back in the 1960's avfc fans would not have done this thing...

Without wishing to ruin the best thread of all time, you don't need to look too far for them at any away game.

Love it. As it should be.

We're not Small Heath or the baggies.

Absolutely crying at this on the facebook page.

McGinn is on his brother's stag do, Mings is wandering around Bournemouth in his full kit and Jack is still celebrating. It would be a logistical nightmare to organise it anyway!

I want to sleep on a pillow that plays Purslow’s voice.

Christian Purslow comes over incredibly well; there's no comparison between him and other recent incumbents of that role.

A bit of a difference from "we want to be in the top 20 of the Deloitte money league".

My reaction on hearing him say that. A little awkward admittedly
