Shameful exhibition of fuckwittery.

I hope they get to identify some of them and bin them off from Villa Park.

Still a bit groggy after yesterday so an early night tonight. Must say I have some good times in the championship and met some great fans of opposition clubs but now it's time to move on. Chapter one of the new owners has now ended and it's time for the second chapter. I really hope we dont spunk the money up the wall this time because the real stand out moment for ne in the last couple of months is the team spirit and togetherness of the players.. That added to the relationship with the fans has got us where we are now. Please Dean dont sign any Billy Big Bollocks, just sign players who understand the team mentality, the club mentality, and who understand the relationship players need to have with the fans. So a few weeks rest then premiership here we come... cant wait...Love AVFC

Who's the tubby bloke with the big ginger beard and glasses that's always on the pitch when we win big games?

Villa fan on Twitter is trying to crowd fund to cover the damage and the coach fares for those caught up in it.

Unfortunately, while undoubtedly well-intentioned, I think he's going about it the wrong way.

How do you mean?

Still feels a little surreal as I was resigned to us being in that league forever. We've had plenty of false dawns in recent times, but the club feels united from top to bottom, having a fan as a manager and captain makes these times feel very special.  Though the heart sinks when you see blues type behaviour from our own supporters.

He’s apparently been told the cost of the repairs is £20K. Now, this strikes me as being massively overinflated (you can get an entire second hand coach for that), and if he wants to make a nice gesture, all it needs to be is the cost of the insurance excess, an amount for any increase in premiums and a couple of grand to reimburse the Derby fans on there. Trying to get £25K isn’t achievable, and isn’t really on.

I dunno. Even if it's over the odds, I've no real issue with them getting a bit extra, tbh. Noone should have to go through that shite just to watch a football match. I'll bung in a fiver if someone can point me in the direction of a link to said collection.

I was told that the daft young lads who were throwing the bottles were fronted by older Villa and they nearly all melted, there were however a few more who continued to be gobby and didnt see what ****** they were being.
