I've not posted on here in a long time. But fuck me, it's great to have our Villa back.

The last 3 months have been as much fun watching Villa as I've ever had, the most loveable team I can remember. I couldn't be happier that it's Deano that's taken us up; I had to hold it in a bit when  he lifted the trophy yesterday.

I had surgery on Friday and had spent all weekend on the sofa. Dragging myself to Wembley was much more of an effort than expected. But fuck me, it was worth it. (Funny how all the pain wears off after a few beers and a promotion.)

Connor, AEG, McGinn and the back four were monumental yesterday. And watching back when I got in, Jack did more during the game than I'd given him credit for.

Wilder's post-match quotes were great, there's obviously a tonne of respect between him and Deano.

More than anything, I want to hear the inside story of the Will-Carew relationship.

More than anything I want to join the Will-Carew relationship. My Grandson met Prince William at Acorns so I am hoping to get a foot in the door that way. When we win the FA Cup next season I will be the bloke in the box celebrating with them both that hardly anyone recognises. ;)

Well, the official story is that Will met Kate at university. However, maybe it was really at a strip club. :)

Reading through the posts it brings home how big a part Villa plays in all our lives for different reasons. Bless.

For the first time in a very long time it is wonderful to be able to look forward to the forthcoming season with a sense of optimism. The cherry on top is few quid in my pocket thanks to an inspired bet I placed back in March.

I have heard that the Future King was advised that he needed a high level of protection at Villa games.  The club offered to provide a dozen MI6 plain clothes hitmen or Jonker.  The Future King said Jonker will do nicely thank you.

Good day, I'm going to miss the beautiful Championship  though.
Well that’s the Championship (not) for you.

Just watching the match to see what actually happened yesterday as being at Wembley was a bit of haze for me to tell you the truth. When my friend said great time to score a minute before half time I was genuinely shocked. Time had just flown by and even the the 7 minutes of injury time just disappeared.
Their goal didn’t worry me at all as we had total control and TBT it was an easy match.  Met some great Derby fans before the match. Didn’t see many after😊

I don’t think I’ve ever been more nervous before a game. I’m getting too old for that kind of afternoon but now we’re back where we belong we won’t have go through Championship playoffs ever again. Literally sobbed when we picked up the trophy. Thanks Dean Smith for bringing my Villa back

Saw Sarkic in the Box Park wearing his shirt with his name on it.  I'm at work but feel like death.  I suppose that' what happens when you have your first beer at 7am and get to bed at 1 am the following day. I too was hungover on the train home before I'd actually gone to bed.

I've no idea why I agreed to a 9am meeting this morning.
