Don't think we were anywhere near our best but we did enough. On a day when the likes of Grealish struggled, lesser lights like Elmo, Hourihane and El Ghazi were superb. McGinn was excellent in second half. We stopped playing for about 10 mins when cruising and Derby got back into it. Strange team selection from Lampard didn't help the Derby cause and they were very poor late rally aside.Huge job of work over the summer. Mings is a must buy but the club is far stronger now.Steer 7, Elmo 8, Tuanzebe 6, Mings 7, Taylor 5, Hourihane 7, McGinn 8, Grealish 6, El Ghazi 9, Abraham 6. Green 5, Hause 6.More or less with you, thought it was a toss up between El Ghazi and Elmo for MOM whilst McGinn was incredible second half. However, thought Hause was a TEN. Brilliant cameo, got his head on the end of every cross and headers went a mile. Commanding stuff, if anything, was even better than Tyrone.Well said. I thought I was the only one who noticed.

Great day yesterday and quite emotional. Was driven there and back by my son, a provisional license holder (non motorway route only). Breakfast with my family in Watford where my daughter lives. Drinks on the green. Gave up my ticket to my daughter who was absolutely thrilled to receive it and saw Villa win at Wembley for her 1st time. Watched the match in Flannery's Bar with my wife and many fellow Villans. The scenes in there at FT were brilliant. After match drinks in the Holiday Inn preceded my son driving us back home for midnight. Met many great Villans throughout the day. The team were fantastic as were the management, prince Will and John Carew! An unforgetable day for my family and one we will always cherish. UTV!
