Why would knowing we’ll never win the league cause us horrendous existential angst but not have the same effect on them?

That from the supporter of a club that is so deeply insecure  it abandoned its name.

Just seen the interview where Jimmy Shan says "Villa might adopt some of the tactics we used today".

No, we fucking won't Jim bob.

It was quite unbelievably stupid from Gayle in the second half.  Booked for time wasting, should have got a second yellow for a body check a few minutes later, and then with the final whistle looming he gets himself sent off for a pointless lunge at the goalkeeper, thereby significantly reducing his side's chances in the second leg.  Footballers never cease to amaze me at how brain dead they can be.

Hilarious!

Yes - utterly fucking stupid on his part.

disagree.. think it was a brilliant decision by him ..then again im biased

caller on WM said wasn't  penalty , they should have had one and Gayle shouldn't have been sent off..love the unbiased opinions..

No that was Jimmy Shan their caretaker coach / under 9s manager.
No it was a caller.. Shan said he had no complaints about the penalty.the follow up caller made teh comments

Yes you’re right. I was skipping back and forth as kept losing the connection.

no that wasnt a bad connection that was franksy trying to get something in about how great Nuno has been at wolves.

I don't get this " it's far from over" opinion. It's over. This was their big chance to get away with a draw. They have reverted to horrific Pulis methods under Jimmy Shan including those laughable long throws. Parked their bus and nearly got away with it but didn't. On Tuesday they are going to have to open up as they need to win by 2 clear. No chance of that.

They could win by 1 and then win on penalties. It is far from over, better teams than us have fucked up against shitter sides than the bitters. I don't want there to be any complacency.

true...  look at Liverpool  and Spurs this week for examples how its far from finished..we still have to go and do the job on Tuesday...

I see some Leeds fans, who rival the noses for their bitterness, believe Conor shouldn't have been on the pitch. God willing he'll be there on the 27th to deliver a knockout.

Gayle is now suspended for 2 games (due to a previous ban for cheating) which means he’d miss the final if they got there and he may have played his last game for them.

Which begs the question - why didn’t they substitute him?! Even I had clocked that he was looking like a walking red card who was going to get himself sent off and miss the 2nd leg. The fact that Shan couldn’t see this is shocking (but funny).

Also if they had any decent analysts at the club they’d have known he was a red card away from a 2 game ban. ( personally I think the 2nd game he’ll miss is more likely to be Barnsley at home rather than a Wembley final).

It’s all beautiful karma though. The cheating little shit.

Because their  ambition is limited to beating us...nothing else matters to the sad pathetic pr**ks

What an atmosphere - we were in the top of the Trinity and the noise was incredible. And you can all thank Kingthing for the first goal. He should go for a piss in the middle of the game more often.

It's the thought that we might that's getting them so upset.

Be nice if we could give our opposition blaster an airing against Brighton and Hove next season.

I wonder if the Leeds muppets are so vocal about their own player (Klitch) who should have been red carded last night or for another idiot linesman who overruled a perfectly legitimate penalty awarded to Derby.

Fuck Leeds and just sit back and enjoy the bitterness and suffering that our local rivals are currently putting themselves through.
