The Bristol player was almost ready to saddle Conor and there was also handball by the same person. Good referring made the correct decision.

Mings, Axel and Tammy. 3 loanees who look like they love being at the club.
Even El Ghazi looks happy.

This club does stuff to people.

After watching the Sky highlights, maybe on another day.....
Weiman's goal might have stood
We wouldn't have got the soft pen
We would have scored more goals.

So a bit lucky and unlucky at the same time
On the BC forum, most are crying injustice, mostly about the Ref but there some more pragmatic about the game.

Got to give a shoutout to Neil Taylor, who I thought was excellent today, both going forward & defensively. Linked well with El Ghazi, who looked dangerous throughout. Should have won by more & more wins will do it.

Good to hear .
I mean I seen from highlights he smashed ball against opposition player and then didn't prevent cross coming in from his side but perhaps his whole game was a lot better.
Seeing him v Rotherham midweek early on was awful falling on ball.
I would say he's still a concern for me especially on his defending and the part he played in the goal being conceded.
That said hear what you're saying so it's good there is part of play that's being recognized and certainly been more solid overall in this winning run!

I thought you weren't coming back until the Norwich game, Footy?

I couldn't miss out on 8 and 8 !! Historic ! Needed acknowledging! The almighty smith
Buzzin'
Oh and to address a few things including serious concern about  the McGinn issue !
Yes my curious love for Kalinic couldn't keep me away despite grave concerns.
No more ridiculous announcements- though that was one in itself ?! Silly.

Most pleases to be reading people's views on match and that all behind club and getting what we want !!
I fear for Bolton on good Friday . What an unfortunate state they are in is it all that they will be laid to rest for their sins.
Up the villa and praise be the almighty Smith

Apart from their disallowed goal and 2 bookings
Correctly disallowed goal and well deserved bookings.

How was Andreas Weimann ?did he get a good reception?
The irony I can't forget where it would have been 8 matches without a home win when he scored late on for villa v Fulham  !!
Always liked him

Seems they had to be disruptive and physical and having so many yellows a pen was deserves.
Why didn't Whelan take that pen! For amends and as captain !
Well done Tammy putting away.
Hourihane could have had a hat ful no?

Excellent day at the game today; I thought it'd be a close one and the score makes it look that way but we could've put away five or six today especially in the second half.

I thought the first half was quite even- they had some good chances and the marginal offside- it looked very close but I was sitting right behind the linesman and he didn't hesitate to raise the flag. Adomah's had better days although he picked up a bit in the second half.

I thought Tammy was well offside for his disallowed goal but the only replay I've seen is inconclusive. I thought he struggled to hold the play up at times; his first touch let him down and putting Davis on was a good call for me.

Credit to the defence for restricting Bristol to the few chances they got. They all put in a shift today.

McGinn was excellent- he bossed the last few minutes after their goal and his decision-making in the final third to close out the game was first class.

Whelan was MOTM for me for some excellent passing and for repeatedly winning back possession in the midfield. What an improvement from him in this run!

Hopefully we can extend it to nine games against Bolton and ten against Millwall...

How was Nathan Baker . Another I always liked. Saw be came on was he well received and did he do any of those thundering baker special slide challenges  or get a head injury.
One of our own!

Crikey, there's some proper horseshit going on in there about us not deserving to win.

It's clearly a BCFC thing.

You know, being poxy dickheads and that.

Albert was the only disappointment today.
I thought the cross leading up to thier goal should have been dealt with by Steer but I did not have a good angle to see it.
Is there a highlight of the penalty.

All those desperate challenges and head injuries were because he isn’t actually a very good defender. Came on late but did not very much. Well received by the crowd though.

That’s incredible, are we like that?!?

They kind of remind me of Coventry fans.  Buy their furniture from SCS.  Small Club Symdrome.

It really is an awful decision, which does make it funny as it was in our favour.

Inconclusive, if he pushed him in the back then a pen but you can not tell from that.
