Zebra Finance???

The Zebra Finance option for season ticket renewals has been removed.

Anyone know why & what the club's plans are for those wanting to renew using the finance option?

Apparently ZF have pulled out of all football related activity, all current deals will be unaffected.  That's what I have read anyway.

Hopefully the club will extend the renewal deadline for ST holders then until a replacement company can be found.

AVFC Official Statement:

Aston Villa can confirm that, along with a number of other high profile football clubs, the Club is temporarily unable to accept any applicants for credit on Early Bird Season Tickets.

The credit supplier, Zebra Finance, has had its funding ceased and the Club are currently exploring alternative credit solutions for season ticket purchases.

Supporters who have already taken up the finance option through Zebra are unaffected and fans can still continue to purchase early bird season tickets without a finance plan.

That explains why I was refused finance … they have no money!
I put my application in last night, must have been just before they went bump. Only problem I now have is that my season ticket is no longer there for renewal and I haven't bought it either! Looks like phoning them tomorrow.

I signed mine last week, so should be OK I guess. Hope the club find an alternative

Went to renew on Tuesday and recieved email from zebra, news about their withdrawal from football was a surprise so rang the club & after 45 mins in que got through was told to still sign & send back but they may say they will not supply credit.
Opened email to sign only to see message saying agreement had already been deleted, at Zebra.  The club had said if that was the case they are looking for another finance provider & when I asked about early bird renewal by date he suggested it would be extended.

I had all the paperwork come through from Zebra saying the finance was ok, then another email a couple of days later saying it had been canceled... so where do I stand as it's saying on the avfc.co.uk that I have nothing to renew! Have i got them for free? ;-)

I did mine online on the 23rd, got an email from the Villa saying the order had gone through and all was sorted.

I didn't read the small print which said i'd get another email off Zebra which i'd need to sign. Needless to say i didn't get that and so my two renewals haven't in fact gone through at all.

Gonna be fucked if they don't get a new finance option on board ASAP as i haven't got the £££ to pay out in one go at the moment.

Been down again today & was told there will be another finance deal announced, so keep your eyes peeled

Apparently it's to do with Raphaels Bank which provided the finance for Zebra, it seems it's being wound down leaving Zebra unable to do the season tickets. Zebra do about 100k ST for fans of 80 clubs as well as rugby and so on.
