Finance declined despite having a season ticket on finance for the last 5+ years, never missing a payment and being more financially secure than I’ve ever been. Fuming.

Did you apply for 4 or 9 months, villaboy?

They rejected me first time on 9 months, tried 4 months and also offered to pay a £50 deposit and I think it's been accepted, just need to send over a copy of my passport / bank statement

Unlucky mate.

I don't understand why the club can't front the money themselves, and if anyone misses a payment just stick their seat back on sale.

I don't understand why we've got a company who does proper credit checks aswell, it's a season ticket that can be revoked at any time.

Annoying for people who would / could have saved up if they'd have known no finance would be offered. I hope they take this into account when tickets come on sale again at the end of the season.

The club aren't a finance company.

I applied for the 4 month thing for two season tickets earlier this afternoon and got an email back saying it's under review and i should await further news

What happens if that comes after tomorrows 3pm deadline?

I get that the club aren’t a finance company but a bit of loyalty wouldn’t go amiss. If, for example, I had the summer to stump up the 500 then I could probably scrape it together. As it stands I’m left in limbo and potentially will be split up from my family when it comes to my seat next season.

Fair play to the club, i rang up to purchase a season ticket around lunch time yesterday ,to be told at that moment there was no finance available. However the guy i was talking to did say there was every chance that could change very soon and to watch the Villa website .Within a hour it had been announced there was finance now available .I was able to purchase a season ticket and it was all completed within a few minutes .Was free for the 4 month option and £10 for the 9 month option

All applicants will be bombarded with shite regarding to credit etc. now they've used V12. Stupid decision.

You mean V12 want something in return for giving interest free credit? Who'd have thought!!

If you don't want to be "bombarded" with adverts I'm sure the Villa would've accepted your credit card or some cash.

ooh. Zebra didn't bombard anyone. I come back to the original point that us being in the age of a digital entry system, the wealthiest owners ever, why we are not self financing this.
V12 will cost the Villa custom. Sorry if you work for them or the ticket office, but it's the bald truth.

I would literally eat my hat if the club offering interest free credit through V12 stops someone buying a season ticket.

Well, the amount of people it's declined compared to zebra has already stopped a lot of people.

People who could have saved up in advance if they knew.

Instead, theyll be stuck with a higher season ticket price at the end of the season.

I doubt villa care though.
