For me Andre Green is playing to his level. I'm glad he's getting a run of games and he's made an impact but this is probably close to what his potential is. He's not particularly quick, he doesn't really have that burst of speed, he doesn't have a trick. He'll do ok vs Championship defenders but he won't make it in the PL. Solid squad player, good lad, but that's it. But, if we go he will have played his part so I'm glad he came back to help out, but long term I think he'll carve out a decent lower division career.

We have to stop doing this with our young players. Far too early to be judging a young players potential when he hasnt even had a full season yet. The Premier League is littered with players we called shit and will never make the grade and moved on too quickly. Let our youngsters grow into their role. Green has many attributes and in time may well become a real homegrown star. For now he is learning his trade and we should expect some good stuff from him and some meh from time to time.
“What’s been disappointing is the goals that we’ve conceded,” he said.“From our throw-in, we play the ball across the pitch and they get in and the left-sided player caused Ryan (Shotton) loads of problems when he was on. I thought we were better when we made the change. The second goal is a poor goal, he runs off Lewis (Wing) and shows more desire to get there and scores.“The last goal, Darren’s (Randolph) been fantastic this year and he’ll be the first to hold his hand up. Five shots at goal – they scored three.”
To me it read as Pulis criticising his defence rather than a case of a flattering scoreline.QuoteWhats been disappointing is the goals that weve conceded, he said. From our throw-in, we play the ball across the pitch and they get in and the left-sided player caused Ryan (Shotton) loads of problems when he was on.
