First game for my 13 year old daughter. She’s hooked. I was 14 when I went to my first game. Brings a tear to my eye.

Sum up the game in one word - controlled.

Players - midfield is just plain awesome - they harried, passed, tackled, closed down, won the ball back cleanly and broke quick. Every time we rolled forward we looked like scoring.

Mings - Laursen and Melberg rolled into one. Won everything in the air time after time. 2 boros closed in on him , turns, swivels, rolls a calm measured pass out of defence. Hit the jackpot with this player.

Shame Grealish was out for so long we’d be in the autos. Karma is to meet Baggies in semis or actual final and swat them aside.

Complete 90mins performance, once we went 2-0 up should have been 5 or 6 in the end.

Another win and I’m elated. Bonus was blues conceding in injury time, I don’t give a shit about them, it’s just still rage for their attack on jack. Jealous uneducated pricks.

I am so happy and proud of the players they’re doing ever so well.

Green was very patchy in the game but I believe (?) It was his pressure that lead to the opener.

We've been very fortunate that both Mings and McGinn hit the ground running, it seems to me that it's been a long time since any of our signings have done that.  The hard work seems to be now paying off.  Keep it going boys.

Plus we haven't coached that ability out of them for a change.

Great result! Another 3 points and into 6th. We've got to keep this run going after the international break. Well done team and congrats to the new dad! UTV!

Enjoyed that immensely.

We were just excellent, fully in control and deserved more.

MOTM was so tough today, anyone from Whelan, Mings, McGinn, Grealish, Hause.

Boro reflected Pulis perfectly, time wasting from the first minute, taking forever on goal kicks and throw ins. I pity the Boro fans watching that turgid shite every week.

I bet that Boro fans website is a cheery place tonight!

Their fans are more entertaining than their team.

Quote
Credit where credit is due, Pulis had taken a squad of players worth only a paltry 88 million and managed to set up and come away with only a 3 - 0 defeat. I think crowdfunding for a statue outside the Riverside is the least we should do in his honour

Does this mean I need to book a hotel near Wembley now?

What a difference a few weeks makes.

Boro had absolutely nothing to worry us, we are looking solid throughout and it’s become a pleasure once again to take my seat.

Mings is awesome, the best since McGrath in my opinion, and McGinn just gets better all the time.

Good too see Green having
a run....if we don’t give him a run of games we will never know.

It’s on.....

Was it Callum Robinson?
Maguire

They said on Sky Soccer Saturday that Robinson was celebrating gleefully because he’s Jack’s best mate.

For me Andre Green is playing to his level. I'm glad he's getting a run of games and he's made an impact but this is probably close to what his potential is. He's not particularly quick, he doesn't really have that burst of speed, he doesn't have a trick. He'll do ok vs Championship defenders but he won't make it in the PL. Solid squad player, good lad, but that's it. But, if we go he will have played his part so I'm glad he came back to help out, but long term I think he'll carve out a decent lower division career.

The only negative today was not scoring more, as Smith pointed out.

As awful as we were in January, we've been excellent in March.

Having Jack back has obviously been the huge difference but the defence looks so much better. We'll do well to hold on to Mingus and I had big doubts about Hause, but he's improving all the time. Elmo has recovered from December and is showing he's a better defender than Hutton; even Taylor is currently looking more solid.

Very solid performance. Whelan kept things ticking over nicely and Elmo, apart from a couple of stray passes, had a great game.

Mings and Jack are clearly far too good for this division.

The only negatives for me were a Green, who was very poor and Davis who looked ponderous.

He's quite the Pithecanthropus Erectus.
