Yes, amid the euphoria there were two or three rotten performances out there for us today.

That was horrendous on a number of levels, but we're back in the race.

What an absolutely classless club that is. All this "one fan shouldn't tarnish the reputation of an entire club" is bollocks, considering the reaction to so many in the ground to the incident.

Meanwhile, in a custody suite, somewhere in Birmingham, a Police Officer open the hatch to a cell door and tells the prisoner, ‘by the way dickhead, Jack Grealish has just scored the winner for Aston Villa’.  Poetic justice.

Its just so beautiful.

Great win all things considered. Hourihane's shot off the bar would have put us deservedly 2-0 up. Mings was superb, McGinn brilliant with ball when he came in, Grealish a Villa hero forever after today. Character, the kid has it in spades.

Thought we collapsed last five or ten minutes. Gardner missing two sitters, seemed to me that El Ghazi bottled out of tracking him for the header. Green and Bjarnsson were woeful they came in. But fuck it, none of it matters now.

Green and BB played for a fraction of the game and I thought did nothing wrong. Neither great or bad. Glenn Whelan on the other hand...good grief. Never should anyone suggest him over McGinn. And Adomah just looks finished.
Whelan was shocking but the alternative is Hourihane.

When the alternative scores or creates 10-15 goals a season it's not even a debate.

Precisely, they'll probably build a statue of him and release a commemorative DVD of the incident.

That said, there are plenty of that lot condemning it too.

Dean Smith in his post match interview criticising the Small Heath stewards for not doing their jobs and having a pop at the Small Heath fans for cheering on the incident.

Jack just laughed the incident off in his post match interview. More interested in his goal and the win.

Apparently Small Heath have issued an official apology for the incident.
