A good reason to leave facebook alone then.

Anyway, why isn't O'Hara in consideration for a midfield role?  Yes, he's lightweight and not quite the required standard yet but I think he'd still offer more than Hourihane.

Probably because O'Hare is on loan at Carlisle Utd until the end of the season is my guess.

Forgot he'd gone on loan.  Oh well, Hourihane it is, can't wait.

Still angry from the Brentford debacle.

Fact is 2/3 team will be gone come the summer and they know it so there is no unity in the squad. Why should they bust a gut? Professional players my ass.

Cant see past a 3-0 defeat.

Just playing out the season so I would shake it up, better stifling my groan when I see Hologram on the teamsheet. Amazing he scored 10 from midfield last year!

Kalinac
Elmo Elphick Mings Hutton (At LB)
Thor McGinn Whelan Under23 kid
                 ElGhazi
                Abraham

Basic 4-4-1-1 with Elghazi floating

When with this fucking week in week out dross ever improve.

El Ghazi is definitely a floater that's for sure.

On his wedge he is well flush for a floater, as well.

I'm reading a lot on social media about a possible vicious/toxic atmosphere at Villa Park, and am a bit worried that people are mistaking a load off hacked off Brummies (which we are even when we are winning let's face it) who are getting a bit fed up with losing and drawing more than we'd like?  Isn't that what it basically is?  I think the words people are using like toxic purely adds unnecessary weight to the story, which is basically we're a bit moany at the minute, nothing more.

Agreed, Twitter is really starting to fuck me off with this.

Twitter has been absolute shitpit of self-loathing as far as Villa are concerned recently.  Absolutely everything is the fault of the fans, and the 3-3 comeback against Sheff U was because all of the moaners left the ground when their 3rd goal went in.

Hourihane was (Wednesday night) , and has been garbage for our last few games. It all set up for him to score the winner with a memorable strike tomorrow , I hope.

I can...I can see it being a 4-0 or 5-0 defeat. Just said to my Baggies supporting mate that I'll be adopting the usual Baggies and Blose stance in that it will be a moral victory for Villa if it's less than 5-0. Not looking forward to this at all, but still hope we can go against the form guide and pull out what could only be described as a shock performance and result.

We will win this - they have to if only for my sake. Work will be unbearable next week with anything less than 3 points.
Safest bet is a score draw but I'll go for a nervy 3-2. Neither team covers itself in glory at the back and both teams have goals in them. It will come down to who wants it more and I am praying that is us for once!!

"West Brom got a fortunate draw against Nottingham Forest but they need to get on a winning run if they are to push up and threaten the top two. This will be a tight game but I reckon the Baggies will nick the three points."

Prutton predicts: 1-2
