For me, Tyrone goes down as one of the most important players I've ever seen in a Villa shirt since the 1982 team. Not the best or most successful, but an absolutely fundamental part in our return from our lowest ebb (in modern times) to European football. I think his over-publicised occasional errors always overshadowed just what he gave to this team in leadership, sheer will to win and defensive dominance on the pitch. For me, at his best he is an absolutely brilliant inspirational player. The way he conducts himself on and off the pitch is a bonus. I don't know what happens next as I'm generally glass half empty when it comes down to injuries of this nature. But even if we don't see a huge amount more from him, there's no doubt in my mind at least that he will walk away with legend status and probably as one of my all time favourite players.
You'd expect/hope that he will be spending plenty of time in the months that he's out, closely involved with the first team and in training and other sessions etc.
No, this is the other knee.
