Mings has been beyond magnificent in the past 8 games. And Ezri has been superb also. A defence tighter than a gnats chaff

McGrath-like today.

What a player! Another shut out. How many is that now? Both ends of the pitch we have been outstanding for weeks now.

McGrath-like today.

Best centre half since McGrath for me, when you consider the whole package.

It's often forgot that he didn't have a whole pile of games at centre back prior to joining us.

Love Tyrone.

Same here. All credit to Ty still being in the first 11 after joining us in the Championship 4 years ago.

Some of his passing between the lines is excellent.  He has really embraced the instructions from Emery despite it being outside his normal skill set.

I'm chuffed he signed that contract extension.  Difficult to find a better English centre half at the moment.

Playing out of his skin, and making Konsa better for it, too.

I think that was one of his best ever games for us. Rock solid at the back and his passing was superb as well. The fat Geordie sat a couple of places from me asked when Mings had turned into Baresi, which was nice.

We’ve got the  coach Mings has needed for a few years now. A superb defensive performance from him today and those silly mistakes seem to have gone and that’s down to Emery’s coaching.

I said on the post-match thread that he had an air of the Laursens about him today and I meant it, just that immensity and omnipresence, blocked shots like the ball was drawn to him magnetically. An awesome, beefy, high class display.

I love Tyrone more than any other player regardless of performance. The fact he's the heartbeat of an amazing team is just amazing.

He was outstanding today, arguably the MOTM as he didn’t put a foot wrong.

Seems he is good enough for a top 10 side after all.
