Let's face it before the rumours this morning non of us expected him to be in.  I personally think he's good enough, but missing the last squad and then a couple of high profile errors when Southgate has been watching us since has killed any chance he did have.
he must have missed McGuire's cockups, probably have his Manchester United glasses on
And Alexander Arnold has been responsible for more goals against Liverpool this season than Tyrone has been since he came to  Villa and NONE for England, Southgate makes Gerrard look like a world class coach. He has to go.

I could accept Tyrone being left out if it were not for those that are picked without any justification at all

Dier / Slabhead  - why the fuck is he taking 4 right backs????????

The man is a complete clown and the sooner we get knocked out and he goes the better - i then think it is perfect for a certain Mr Gerrard to get the role

I think unfortunately some defenders and goalkeepers get a reputation for making mistakes, even if they only make as many as their counterparts in other teams.  That results in any mistakes they do make being highlighted.

I wonder what has made Mings a target for that.

If you are implying it's racism, then I'm not too sure about that really as plenty of white players have had that kind of label attached to them.  It's only really the Leeds fans that seem to have an issue with him, can't really recall any other fans having a go at him.

I personally find him frustrating at times, as he can be quite lax and sloppy in games.  That said, I think he has had far, far more good games during his time with us than poor ones.

He's no McGrath, but he should be in ahead of Slabhead and Dier.

If they can play for England then so can I

It just smacks of Mouthgate bottling it and leaving out players from scum 6 who are so out of form it is untrue

I sincerely hope the FA did not put pressure on Southgate and that Mings to be left out because he is outspoken and would likely speak out against things, upsetting Qatar and FIFA.
It can be cause for concern that he's been excluded because of other than football reasons.
He's as good as any other central defender selected so it's preferences but as long as it wasn't a political move then will accept it.

More that he's so vocal about it. The criticism seemed to increase massively after he started talking about the racism in the Bulgaria game, maybe it was a conincidence but it's not just Leeds fans that have a problem with him and most of the clubs who give him shit are ones that have a bit of a history for this.

I don't think FIFA or the FA are going to be sending memos worrying about Tyrone Mings

Nice conspiracy theory there bud but, errr no.

Like others have said he more than likely just hasn't got the bottle to leave cunting Maguire out. Honestly, i know i might be biased but to take someone who hasn't been playing much and when he has he's played badly over someone who in recent months has been playing and barring one or two gaffes has been playing well is just fucking stupid.

Haven't really heard fans from other teams have a go at him at games the way the Leeds fans do.

As for England, he's been out of the picture for a while now,  so it's unsurprising he hasn't made the squad.  I think he would have a case to have been included given some of the selections in defence and that he can offer a left footed option, but not to be.

One player who I do quite like who would have been better than Dier or Macguire is Trevoh Chalobah. Quick and reads the game really well.

I've always had a sneaky suspicion that the refusal of the team to meet up at #10 after the Euros has cost Tyrone. He'd have been the outspoken one about Patel and her racist ways. Johnson would have taken umbrage with the team's snub and let the powers be know.

It's the blatant hypocrisy in Southgate's stances that's so infuriating and will ultimately what leads to him losing his job.  Tammy Abraham isn't in the squad because he has hit a bad run of form at the wrong time, whereas Slabhead and Eric Dier get in ahead of Mings for what reason - because they have never let him down?  England have conceded 2 goals in Mings 14 appearances, yet he is ignored for the likes of Conor Coady - it's a fucking insult.

I fully predict the England squad will be in revolt before the World Cup is over, and won't be surprised if Southgate is out of a job by December 1st when England are on the way home having lost to the USA and drawn the other 2 games.

With Tyrone not going to the World Cup i'm disappointed for him but Villa is my priority as a fan, Unai is going to get a few weeks with the majority of the squad prior to the re-start of the league and that can only be good for him to get his tactics across.
