Let's face it before the rumours this morning non of us expected him to be in.  I personally think he's good enough, but missing the last squad and then a couple of high profile errors when Southgate has been watching us since has killed any chance he did have.
he must have missed McGuire's cockups, probably have his Manchester United glasses on

Maguire must have footage of Southgate felching an alsatian or something, there can be no other explanation.

Fuck Gareth Southgate. You complete wanker. Eric Fucking Dier over Mings or Tomori. What a joke.

Coady and Dier ahead of Mings, think it's fair to say Soutghate thinks Tyrone is shit.

Coady has been playing well this season and deserves to be in. Maguire, not so much.

Really don't get the flack that Ty gets from rival fans (and a bunch of our own). He's consistently been one of our better players since joining the club, and we'd be a lot weaker without him - This season especially!

I hope he uses this disappointment as fuel to push on this season. Let's face it, Southgate is a sham and won't be England manager after this tournament - Calling it right now, Chelsea will axe Potter and he'll take over the England reigns.

Also Coady is more used to playing in the formation that dare not speak its name.

Feel for Tyrone as he's probably not gonna get the chance to play at the next world cup - this is the direct result of what happens when you appoint someone with an abundance of confidence who lacks actual managerial competence. Stevie G's abrasive, tough man act, playing to the media and handling of Tyrone early in the season was disgraceful.

Well England's loss I'm hoping is our gain. UTV!

I think he's been playing very well, but with a couple of high profile errors just at the wrong time.  I honestly think the team would have been stronger with him in it.

Then Southgate must have missed Eric Dier’s high profile error vs Liverpool the other day. And Maguire has made so many high profile errors he doesn’t even play for his club team.

Hahaha! It's the only logical conclusion!

Leeds fans loathe him and have got more gammon than Sainsbury's among their support, so draw your own conclusions from that.

I think unfortunately some defenders and goalkeepers get a reputation for making mistakes, even if they only make as many as their counterparts in other teams.  That results in any mistakes they do make being highlighted.

I wonder what has made Mings a target for that.
