I cracked two ribs doing taekwondo many moons ago. The doctor told me three weeks of no contact and minimal involvement. Rest and painkillers, no quick fix. Sneezing fucking killed!

Like many of us I’m sure, I’ve had quite a lot of injuries from various sports over the years. Broken ribs was by far the most painful during recovery (surprisingly the initial injury didn’t really hurt that much). But rolling over in bed, getting up, coughing etc all induced absolute agony for a couple of weeks.

I've broken a considerable number of bones over the years, and they all pale into insignificance compared to the pain of broken / cracked ribs. A sudden sneeze was like a hand grenade going off in my chest. The pain was so great I couldn't even cry out.....

yep, I've had a lot of injuries and that's one of 3 that I'd say were the worst alongside a torn pectoral and a torn muscle in my hand/thumb. In all 3 cases the problem is because of the amount of tiny movements in those areas all the time that you don't even consider normally.

Torn pectorals and broken ribs - all suffered skiing; 2 or 3 times.
Agonising!

Has Mings joined up with the England squad? Not fit last weekend for Villa!

I really don’t understand why Tyrone is joining up with England.

Cracked ribs, he has to rest, simple as that. There’s no quick fix, there’s no way he should play any games for England.

Any light fitness stuff can be done at BMH.

Oh I could. Skiing accident, the all clear and huge bill from a Swiss doctor. It was when I got back home and realised I now had a bad case of Tourettes that I got checked again and told I had a cracked rib. F*****g agony!

Out for the next Match due to his Yellow Card. Good news for us seen as we haven't had much good come from this pathetic International Break for a Tournament that should be illegal

I’d think is very much good news for who he views as ‘us’

As they are obsessed with Villa
