On a lighter note, I see on Twitter that Tyrone now adorns the North Stand.
Link? Couldn’t find it myself.

I saw a pic, but it was an obvious photoshop job.

He doesn't, at least not yet.

In all the madness of what has gone on with Jack, Mings is a player and a bloke we should be so proud to lead us out.

Absolutely. A genuine role model for a lot of youngsters growing up…and dare I say it, but a lot of adults could learn a lot by his example too.

Can add me to the 'Mings for captain' list. Just recognising how important he is already.

Brilliant interview with Mings and ‘our Michelle’ on AVTV.
He is so eloquent, intelligent and interesting.

A true captain and leader.

That’s a  great interview. He’s a credit to the club.

He is and Michelle avoided most of the fluff questions. She knows her football.

Great interview, he's just a good, smart guy. I really like the part where he was talking about learning as a centre back as his personal goals, I think a lot of people should remember that bit if he makes a mistake, he's been a regular central defender for 2 1/2 years and is improving all the time.

Congratulations Tyrone. New captain of Aston Villa FC. You made us proud before this.

Congratulations Tyrone, and much deserved! X

An image of him holding up the FA Cup has just flickered in my mind

I really should know better by now!

Didn't I read, presumably on here, that he didn't want to be captain?
