I know Jack is our captain, but I think where talks are happening with the Premier League and the captains, I can’t help think we are missing a trick not having big Tyrone there.

He seems very articulate and comes across very well, also he is plainly a pretty level headed and clever chap as well as a natural leader.

Is he Vice captain? Does that role still exist?

I see he's joined Jay Z's management empire. I have no idea what that means.

Following the NFL as I do looking at the clients represented it is a bit worrying most of them have a reputation of being trouble makers grumbling to be traded or wanting more money. Not to say Mings will go down that road though.

I'm pretty sure that means we can count Beyonce as a Villa fan, and she has to buy me a pint in The Bartons.

If you were trying to start a management company for NFL players and decided NOT to include those with bad reputations, you would be left with a very small pool to choose from.

Doesn't help that owners are by and large a bunch of odious racist shitbags as well.

Feel free to crack on with Beyonce but let me know if she shows up with Ariana Grande. ;)

De Bruyne isn't exactly a bad boy.

He only looks about 15.

Mings is showing his support and solidarity for the Black Lives Matter movement in attendance to a 4,000-strong gathering at Victoria Square in  city centre, was protesting against racial injustice .
Where the heck were the rest of the squad?
Mings is a class act

I think we would all like to see more than Mings at such a movement.
I would like to see Aston Villa squad taking a knee to show the support like Liverpool Chelsea and Leicester squads have. And show solidarity to the cause of black lives

Other clubs have released statements Now Mings who in my eyes has shown his leadership by taking a stand.
For me he's a great role model . And is captain all but in name.

Jack Grealish take note.  This is how a football role model behaves.
