He hasn't made the step up with as much ease as I had hoped.

He isn’t as good as first lauded.

But that could be the utter shitfest that is our defence coaching. Who knows ?

For me he just chucks the towel in too easily when things aren't going our way.  He should be one of our best players, but he's an absolute liability of late.

He hasn't been the same player since he got the England call up.

That fraud Southgate probably told him how important it is to play out of defence and ever since, he keeps looking for the wonder ball.

He came back after injury and looked good in a 3 but defended poorly tonight.

I'd be amazed if he gets another England cap whilst at Villa. You can't ignore performances like tonight. It was hardly a one-off.

I wouldn't be picking Jack based on his last few appearances either.  He seems to have had enough of this train wreck of a season.

Shocking tonight, actually looked like he doesn’t care, which is the most worrying aspect. His distribution was just abysmal.

Well of the 4 he was the most effective if that's anything to go by!
I get he wasn't great compared to previous season form however he was the best compared to rest of defence as he was the only one I could see doing effective defending
Engels was the shambles who either passed it to Leicester player , too slow or tried heading it back for a near o.g with Reina.
I only thought Mings was good in comparison to defence.
And from what I recall he was giving great effort from blocks headers and covering more than anyone else.
He did get caught once on ball but generally was ok I mean what else can he do when he has those lot around him!

Love Tyrone, but he was as poor as anyone else last night.

He clearly ain't a leader when the going gets tough, and that's exactly what we need.

A good player, currently being over run thanks to shit organisation, no existent midfield cover and calamitous team mates. He's starting to struggle but for me it's from the weight of ineptness around him.

That's the problem: the 'coaching' team and players have parted company, I think.

I don't think the players have a clue what system they are playing.

Ming’s just isn’t very good. He’s prone to errors every single game.

Last night was a train wreck of a display from him.

I've despaired of his performances ever since Wolves away, coincidentally the game before his England debut.

Why does our club never build on momentum? Think back to last May, we had so much going for us .

I thought this man would be massive for us- need him to step up and rally the troops for the battle.
