Of those of you old enough to recall, do you remember a game at home against Spurs where after being fouled by Naylor I think it was, Leighton Phillips grabbed him by the shirt front and pulled him up off the floor and as Naylor came up so Phillip's head came down full force into Naylor's face.  The referee, linesmen and most of the Spurs team missed it completely.  The perfect retribution* Phillips was yards away before the referee had his attention drawn to it.

*I don't normally condone that sort of thing but I liked Leighton Phillips.

Leighton also fronted Kenny Burns after he sythed John Robson. Burns was a hard fcuker, but, I think even he shat himself.
Was a good one to have around wax our Leighton

Confirmed once again as awesome today. Him and Engels had no really defence in front of them and right up until the end they were a fucking wall. Worth every single penny of what we paid for him.

The ball seemed to be  magically attracted to his head and boot. Outstanding display.

If he doesn't make the England squad by the end of the season then we'll know Southgate has something wrong in his brain.

There are lot of compliments all around for his performance today however I think he will be disappointed that Kane picked up two goals.

It was constant pressure 2nd half that the midfield just didn't alleviate.

He appears to have unlocked the same ball magnet skill Terry had as a player.

And Kane's 1st took almighty lucky deflections of both Mings and Engels that landed it on a plate for him.

I think Terry has had a huge effect on Mings. I want us to get Guilbert in there with Targett as soon as possible. While Elmo and Taylor did ok they are decent back ups at most.

I was sat in line with our 18 yard box for the second half, and Mings won absolutely everything.  Against weaker sides we'll see a lot more of his passing game as well.  I bet he'll be looking forward to next week, as would think he'll get a good reception from the Bournemouth fans.
