I hope I'm watching the match when Mings eventually beats the crap out of some POS for a dirty tackle on Grealish.

It'll be fucking awesome - he'll drop the ****** with one punch

Our old friend Ian Holloway was incredibly complimentary about Mings on Talksport earlier today.  Said at £20m he was a bargain, as he was sensational last season.  In fact Holloway spoke a lot of sense, basically disagreed with everything Allardyce said the other day and said that we needed to buy lots of players and had a done a very good job this summer.  The fickle bellend that I am, I now really like Ian Holloway.

I was as pissed off as the next man when all those years ago he called us "a half arsed club who used to be famous" but fuck me he was right! We just didn't know it yet. Thankfully that Villa died at Wembley after the defeat to Fulham.

Generally speaks sense on talksport when he's on.

Anyone who actually watched in the championship has rubbished the "are villa doing a fulham?" Claims , Allardyce = half arsed pundit who used to be famous.

He was right then and he's right now, but he didn't have to say that at the time, especially in the context of the situation. We were looking to sign one of his better players at Blackpool. Yes, fucking Blackpool. As half arsed as we were, it would always be a big career improvement for the player, he was unproffesional and delusional to come out with that. He'd have looked less of a tosser by simply saying 'if Aston Villa think they're going to sign Charlie Adam they can go fuck themselves'.

Holloway called the tackle in the playoff final, just before the injury, one of the best he’d ever seen. He’s definitely a Tyrone fan.

And dare I say it, now the nightmare appears to be over, I can admit that he was pretty much right all along when he was slagging us off, predicting we would flounder in the championship etc.

Saying all that, his conversation with Steve Bruce the other night was the most gut-churning fawning I have ever heard, so back to being a twat again.

As long as it's with 3 games to go after we've wrapped up the title I'm down with it.

That Werner started gobbing off at Jack when he'd chopped him down, then absolutely shat himself when Tyrone approached.

Of those of you old enough to recall, do you remember a game at home against Spurs where after being fouled by Naylor I think it was, Leighton Phillips grabbed him by the shirt front and pulled him up off the floor and as Naylor came up so Phillip's head came down full force into Naylor's face.  The referee, linesmen and most of the Spurs team missed it completely.  The perfect retribution* Phillips was yards away before the referee had his attention drawn to it.

*I don't normally condone that sort of thing but I liked Leighton Phillips.

Phillips should have been done for assault, as Noel Blake should have, when he cowardly nutted Steve MacMahon.

That said, I also liked Leighton Phillips.

How does a MLB pitcher miss a punch from 2 feet away?

I also loved the Mings/Werner scuffle. No harm in our hard players stepping in to protect other players, within reason. It says good things about team spirit.

Crazy ain't it? But arguably for the best considering the size of him.
