Best news of the window, absolutely delighted we signed him up. In the context of other fees quoted and his affinity with the Villa i'd even say it was a bargain!

There was a moment in the Play Off final when Huddlestone clattered Jack (the red mist was descending), Mings waded in and sorted Huddlestone and the situation, nobody was going to argue.
On field leadership.

Welcome Tyrone - do your best.

There was also that marvellous moment at Leeds when it kicked off and he wandered away from the melee with a player of theirs under each armpit once he had ensured nobody from our side was going to whack anybody.

Mings Announced!

Very nicely done, Villa.

Not very realistic mind.

Ive never seen a West Midlands Trains not have passengers herded in like cattle, with people battling to get off 😉

Welcome back Tyrone!

I'm chuffed to bits  - loves the game, remembers where he has come from , seems a natural leader
Well done Villa
Up there with the signings of McNaught, Evans,Laursen, Melberg and dare I say God

Steady on there Squire. Let’s see him now do it at the highest level then put him with Mellberg and McNaught. Evans is a step up from that, then Laursen and it’s a massive leap to Our Lord.

Your enthusiasm mind you is spot on :)

He’s the best centre back I’ve seen at Villa since Laursen and Mellberg so now i hope he goes on to be as good maybe better than those two Legends

Cheers buddy - still on a high after Wembley
I'm 62  tomorrow and wore loads of Villa stuff around the pool in Rhodes - must have looked a proper chav
But I don't care cause the Villa are back where we belong
Lots of comments around the pool congratulating the Villa - Fans of Chelsea, Arsenal, Derby, Everton, Liverpool and even Wolves

My PMT ( pre-Mings tension) has evaporated and I have to say I haven’t felt so happy with a signing in years. Go on and become a Villa legend Tyrone.

Delighted he's back. Wife has 'politely' requested that I stop saying "God I just fucking love... Mings" about the house this evening. I made her watch the interview and all.

I've had a bit of that too. Have been carefully advising her that the proper/born villa fans in the house (me and the 12 day old) are made up by this. Glad Uncle Tyrone is in place before our Villa babygrow photoshoot tomorrow morning.

Bournemouth fan on Twitter comparing Mings to Titus Bramble.

Sadly, we can't all cherry pick the best players from Luton Town.
