One of the worst things about social media is people crying about not being allowed an opinion anytime somebody disagrees with them.

I think the transfer is nailed on hilts. But Bournemouth know we want him and they will have been told he wants to leave by the agent. But what’s their rush is more the question? They don’t need to help us so they likely will give it the time they need to find a replacement to make sure they have what they need in terms of cover before selling him to us. And you never know someone else may make a bid and drive the final price up from whatever we might have offered.
Isn't that precisely why it isn't nailed on though?

Our deal with Bournemouth allows us to match any other offer that comes in, and get first dibs on talking to Tyrone. I think this is only a risk if someone in the top 6 comes in for him, but are they really going to do that off the back of Tyrone having a great 5-month spell in the Championship? I don't see it.

Personally, I still think the biggest risk to this not happening is that Bournemouth don't sell at all because they can't get a replacement, or don't have sufficient cover if Ake gets sold, rather than us being gazumped by someone else.

I'd agree with that, if he's going anywhere it will be here but ultimately if he's still under contract at Bournemouth and they see him as the asset on the pitch that he will be next season they may want to keep hold of him. He does want to come here it seems though, not sure how long is left on his contract there?

Unless his wife wants to go somewhere else. That's still a factor, yeah?

No and never was. It should be sorted this week.

In fairness it was reported a few weeks ago that his girlfriend wanted to stay south coast and he then got linked to Brighton at one point . He’s having his tattoo done today so we won’t be announcing him today

Again? He had some done yesterday. I imagine he'll be here before we fly off to the States on the 9th or 10th.

We’ll sign 2 or maybe 3 by the time we kick off in the US on the 17th and that many again at least by the end of the window. I also expect 2 or 3 gone (Kalinic, Tshibola, maybe BB). It’s going to get hectic.

The only thing worse than waiting for news on whether Tyrone signs or not is seeing the comments under his Twitter and Instagram posts...... cringeworthy.

Arguably the only ever ITK I will offer - and less than useful - but I'm fairly sure that the location he is training at is the Outdoor Sports Complex in Yate, northeast of Bristol.

I'd love him to sign but the pleas being made on his social media feeds make me cringe.

Thanks for sharing Big Nose, but you’re right it’s not useful 😁

I assume he'll be back in pre season training next week so imagine he'd have a meeting with Howe and board and see what his future down there is.

I'm still pretty confident, he loved it here and Bournemouth have quite fixed system so don't suddenly see him being a regular in their 11.

Twatter rumours from shysters/douchebags or credible sources?
