Just shows how the game has become soft. I remember the game in the 70s when I was growing up - watching the likes of Tommy Smith regularly taking players out - if you didn’t like it then tough - he’d be jailed if he were playing these days!

I used to play around that area too.  Wolverton, Bow Brickhill, Stony Stratford, New Bradwell, Old Bradwell, Roade, Nether Heyford, Kislingbury etc.  Local football, I loved it.
