Get well soon, Tyrone. Massive loss to the club, and absolutely gutted for him.

Sorry if I missed this, but was it the same knee he previously injured?

For me, Tyrone goes down as one of the most important players I've ever seen in a Villa shirt since the 1982 team.

Not the best or most successful, but an absolutely fundamental part in our return from our lowest ebb (in modern times) to European football.  I think his over-publicised occasional errors always overshadowed just what he gave to this team in leadership, sheer will to win and defensive dominance on the pitch.

For me, at his best he is an absolutely brilliant inspirational player.  The way he conducts himself on and off the pitch is a bonus.  I don't know what happens next as I'm generally glass half empty when it comes down to injuries of this nature.  But even if we don't see a huge amount more from him, there's no doubt in my mind at least that he will walk away with legend status and probably as one of my all time favourite players.

We are a worse team without him. I really hope the others can step up.

Agree with the above. Of all the outfield players Mings is the most important and this is why this injury is such a huge blow to us and the season. It's going to be a struggle without him and i think Sunday will evidence that further .

Well said Chris. The minute he walked through the door in January 2019, he’s made a huge difference. I can’t remember being this gutted about a player being out long term.

You'd expect/hope that he will be spending plenty of time in the months that he's out, closely involved with the first team and in training and other sessions etc.

Summed up perfectly.

What he can do around his time doing rehab work, yes.

No, this is the other knee.

In assume that is better than doing the same one twice?
