He has faults and makes some erors, but overall he is fantastic for us.  I'm amazed at the stick he seems to be getting by some on social media.

He has had a mistake in him here and there but he's a leader and organiser. Him and Konsa, with Martinez behind them, could be our defence for years to come and with that is going to come an understanding that you can't buy and they'll only get better.

A big reason why we've claimed 10 clean sheets already this season. For years we complained about having no voices on the pitch, his is THE dominant voice. He makes mistakes, all defenders do, but his positive contributions are heavily outnumbering negative ones.

He's worth at least double what we paid now.

The only thing I remember him doing wrong last night was a very weak back pass which we got away with as Ings was offside. That's the kind of thing that let's him down now and again.

Ings was in an offside position, but, surely, he wouldn’t have been classed as offside as it was a back pass?
I remember the back pass, and I agree, it certainly looked slightly under hit, but probably looked worse than it was because Emi seemed to wait. It put a lump in my throat, but Emi was in control

I don't think that was Mings fault and the reaction of Konsa afterwards backs that up, he was pretty clearly telling Martinez he had to be quicker off his line.

Top drawer today. You can see when he’s in the right space, as he gets more vocal. Long may it continue.

His motm award was well earned today. But honestly Konsa Targett Cash and Martinez were all excellent.

Immense again today, and has been a rock for the last 3 games. Need others to step up like he is.

Mings has improved - despite our patchy form.

Showing good leadership and is clearly very vocal.

Yep, he's stepped up to the mark. I expect we will receive some really big offers for him this summer.

Agreed but thought he could have closed the first one down faster.

A bit slow to react for the break for the second goal too. Seemed to lose Maddison momentarily

When we were tearing it up early in the season he looked like one of the weaker players in the team. Now alongside Martinez, he seems to be the only thing holding us together.

He’s got back into form of late - looks really good.
