I'm not fussed about promotion now as there is obviously a lot of squad rebuilding to be done before we're ready to tackle the prem. But I do want us to get back to winning ways and playing the exciting football of a few weeks ago. Hull are in top form so it's obviously going to be tough. Let's hope we can just get our mojo back and see where it takes us.
Us 3 Hull 2. Late winner from Kodja.
Oh and another thing.  Come on the Holte make some fucking  noise today. It's been dead lately.

I can't remember being so confident we'd lose a home game for a very long time

Really hope we can pull something out the bag. That happens in football. But it normally involves a really gritty, solid perfomance

I just can't see it at the moment.

. Hope I'm wrong

I really hate whelan at the base and hourihane further fwd

But struggling to see the alternative. We NEVER look good playing 442. Bjarnason has been awful since coming back. I've gone off the idea of el ghazi as a 10 since he started playing so poorly. Ohare played last night and really doesn't look ready

I can't really see another option

For those of you not expecting us to be Hull at home or challenge for promotion this season, can I ask, what your serious expectations are for the rest of the season?

Feels like quite a big game today to be honest.  Really could do with a win, but think it might be a tough one as Hull have two of the best wide players in the division an we struggle against that.

Ive seen photos of Green and Kodjia turning up at VP today. Have Green on the bench and start Kodjia on the right.

I come to England to see Family over Christmas and i attended the WBA where we was very good and unlucky not to win.
Since that we have been rubbish but the good news i am back off to Thailand again so the Villa will go back to winning ways, So very sorry for the Villa bad form as i'm sure it was me.
Enjoy tomorrow as i be flying over Turkey while the game is on.

I'm flying in the opposite direction and should be able to catch up on the match in Bangkok before my flight is called. Villa are always c*** when I am in Thailand, other than when I worked here in the 90s.

Finish as high as possible and get a system of play and momentum going.

I no longer have any "serious expectations": just hope.

Start clearing out the dead wood, and plan for life without Grealish next season.

Lansburys has been awful for us since we signed him but I actually wish he was fit today.

I think it’s a little unfair to say he’s been awful. He’s been extremely mediocre, and certainly not the player he was at Forest, but I think there have been a few moments of relative usefulness. As you say, I’d cebrtainly take a fully fit Lansbury in our side at the moment.

Maybe I meant , not had our moneys worth but needs a chance under DS

Got a feeling Elphick will score for us today.

Actually if I was DS I'd let him do the teamtalk as he knows their team inside out.

Would keep Tammy upfront but would add Adomah, Bolaise and El Ghazi (number 10 role) behind him.

McGinn + whoever DS draws out of the hat today.
