superb bowling performance from Archer and Tongue, when we get it right there's a lot of talent there.

Will be five straight defeats for the bigots, not counting one no result. Lovely stuff.

For context though this has to be one of the worst Indian teams to come over here. I assume they are missing a lot of their starting line up?

McCullum sacked as test coach - keeps one day

Key the incompetent yes man keeps his gig and probably gets a pay rise.

Suits make a mess as usual

Must keep himself fully lubed up in case any of the suits enter the room

Be interesting to see the direction I go. I suspect it’ll be a more disciplinarian type.

Shocked that Key hasn't gone - i read somewhere that he was negotiating his exit - but clearly not.

Feels a bit of a mess - 3 home tests before the ashes and feels like it might end up being a bit of a baptism of fire for coach and some of the players.

Richard Gould should go as well. That man has reduced England Test cricket to a trivial sideshow.

I’m not sure sacking everyone is the smartest idea. It’s not been great of late, obviously, but it doesn’t take that much to turn it around.
