Time to fully reset at the end of this series, the fact that Stokes played up so we needed a stand in skipper and had to go back to Root because none of the others have the discipline to take the helm is frankly embarrassing.

Key & McCullum have to be close to the door….open the damn thing and push them both through it…if the bouncers can leave one on Key even better :-)

Need a proper coach in who imposes a bit of discipline in both play and off field behaviour…anyone who doesn’t buy into it because they are bigger than behaving as professional athletes can eff off and play pyjama cricket…Root and Stokes (when his head is on) are still the only ones you would guarantee picking if they are at it.  Brook would be another but the fact he was overlooked for captain suggests he is still an absolute child.

Absolutely after the series but that is the time to get them gone whilst the nonsense tournament is taking up the good weather….bit there is an underlying problem that has to be lanced now as they aren’t learning from it

Like I said a week ago, England are going backwards.  I like the fact that they brought in players to have a look at them, but way too many at once and this test was never going to be won having had the issues leading up to it.  The whole English games needs looking at.  Gay and Fisher looks like good players and have a decent future, I hope.
