Nice to see applause from all corners for that innings.

Because he isn't Muslim.

This is a simplification of the situation in India in general and Bombay in particular my goodness me?

Bombay?

Wasn't aware that you were Marathi nationalist, Somn.

Great batting effort.

But catches win matches.

Well more that the modern name has been that for more of my lifetime then it hasn't and has pretty much been picked up by most of the international world now so surprised you went with the old one.

I mean, it's not like I have a dog in the fight particularly, but my Bombay friends insist on Bombay. For them it represents the pluralist city against broader Maharashtran efforts to Hindutvise the city.

I was hoping England were gonna lift my gloom from yesterday, but sadly not. :(

It’s always such fine margins in T20, losing by 7 runs is harder to take than losing by 60 runs. We bowled badly at times and gave them too many runs in the first 10 0vers.

A 7 run deficit makes you consider wayward bowling and dropped catches, yes Mr Brooke I’m singling you out. In T20, particularly IT20, you must take your chances when they come along. If you don’t you pay the price.

Great effort to get close. Ultimately Brook's inexplicable drop and some poor bowling (particularly from Archer) cost us.

Bethell is a superstar in the making in all formats. Cannot wait to see how he is ruined

Indeed, possibly the most cosmopolitan (loosely cosmo) Indian city yet very much owned by traditionalists as Bumbahi rather then Bombay but never Mumbai.

As for the game I am afraid it's Archer to blame. His last over was awful not that others were any better.
