It's truly amazing how far Sri Lanka have slipped down the cricket scale. This is a very poor team.

They absolutely smashed the Aussies a couple of games ago. Their limited overs record at home over recent years is very good

The washout in yesterday’s game between New Zealand and Pakistan should mean that one more win for England should be enough to secure a semi final spot. However, given our patchy form in the tournament so far I’m expecting qualification to go down to the wire.

lol...Aussies turned up as a shamble of a team for this tournament and have gone home early. Sri Lanka will lose all 3 games.

Think we could do with moving Buttler out of the opening spot really.  I'd be looking to bring Duckett back in and drop Buttler down the order for maybe Bantin.  Think Curran is probably.one too high at 6 and we could probably do with strengthening the batting a bit, but you then probably lose a bowling option.

Curran is better the higher he goes up the order. Also Banton has been good this tournament.

I hope Buttler can find some form with the bat today, long overdue a decent knock.

Pakistan were well placed at 122-4 in the 15th over with an established batsman at the crease. To restrict them to 164-9 is an excellent performance with the ball in the death overs, we were very sloppy in the field though.

Hopefully we won’t struggle against spin in our innings but I’m not holding my breath.
